While working on a few web pages, I came across a need to match background color of one division/section with another.
This can be simple if all colors and shades have names. But since all shades aren’t equal, we have to know exact RGB combination or hex value.
Then I came across this tool WhatColor mainly created for colorblind people to identify the exact hex/RGB value of a color.
Upon mouse hover, it shows these values of the underlying screen.
